You might be wondering why some sites or blogs have this YOU MIGHT LIKE IT section below their post and yours don't have? Well, I am. Being a novice in the blogging world, I love to check out site designs and learn some SEO tips. Honestly, it's fun learning these things and today, I'm going to teach you how to put that YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE widget in your blogger blog.
Follow these simple steps below:
1. Visit by Clicking -->
You Might Also Like Widget site. Upon clicking it a new window tab will open and will redirect you to the Link Within page.
2. Enter your email,
3. Type your blog link (e.g. http://www.chikorimasou.blogspot.com)
4. Click the Platform drop down button and choose BLOGGER. Other supported platforms are Wordpress (must be self-hosted), Typepad and some other platforms.
5. In the WIDTH section, it's up to you how many stories you want to appear in your "You Might AlsoLike" section also. It really depends on the width of your blog space. Just try among the three (3) choices where there are 3 stories, 4 stories and 5 stories. In my blog I used 5 stories so visitors have a wide variety of choices.
6. CHECK the BOX if your blog has light text on a dark background and leave the box UNCHECK if your blog has dark text on a light background. Here in my blog, I CHECKED the BOX because my background is dark purple and the main text in my blog is light pink. So for example your background is white and your main blog text is black then LEAVE THE BOX UNCHECK.
7. Click GET WIDGET and a new tab will open redirecting to your BLOGGER account. You must LOG-IN your BLOGGER account to use this.
8. SELECT THE BLOG where you want your LINK WITHIN widget to appear ( if you have more than one), then click on ADD WIDGET.
9. DRAG and DROP the LINK WITHIN GADGET under the BLOG POST box. This step is optional because it really depends on you where you want to place it but this part is the best location to put your Link Within gadget.
10. Click the SAVE button to activate the gadget and you're DONE! Go and check your BLOG POST if it APPEARS at the bottom of every post you made. If you can't find it below and you're doing it wrong. You may visit their
SUPPORT PAGE if the gadget did not appear. I hope this post of mine helps!
